The City of Toronto will offer high-quality camps for the March Break that provide a fun, safe and exciting experience for everyone at reasonable prices.

Parks, Forestry and Recreation camps are available for the week of March 11 to 15 for three to 15 year olds. The camps offer a wide range of activities and adventures.

City of Toronto museums present day camps and drop-ins that run from March 9 to 17. More information about costs, locations and camp details are available at http://www.toronto.ca/camps.

Parks, Forestry and Recreation offers a variety of activity and specialty camps in neighbourhoods across the city. Residents are invited to sign up for ski and snowboarding camp at Earl Bales Park and Centennial Park. Artists can unleash their creativity at the Barbara Frum fine art camp. Participants can flip and tumble away their March Break at Northview Heights Secondary Schools' gymnastic camp. Other options include dance camp at Cedarbrook Community Centre, cheerleading camp at James S. Bell Community Centre, or swim camp at Mary McCormick Recreation Centre.

Activity camps are designed to give children a fun-filled, action-packed, safe camp experience. Over the course of the camp session, campers will be involved in arts and crafts, games, sports, special events, outdoor activities and local trips.

Specialty camps are geared for children who want to develop or fine-tune their skills in specialized areas of interest. Skilled and experienced instructors provide the instructional programs. All of these programs are complemented with a full line up of traditional camp activities. Areas of interest include, for example, gymnastics, hockey, snowboarding, swimming, visual arts, cooking, science, dance, computers and tennis.

Children can also take part in week-long camps and daily family drop-ins at Toronto's museums.

Day camps with extended hours are available at Gibson House Museum, Montgomery's Inn and Scarborough Museum. Children can creatively explore Toronto's history through fun-filled activities including historic cooking, traditional games, crafts and nature exploration. All camps require pre-registration.

Families can also drop in for tours and special programming at Colborne Lodge, Fort York National Historic Site, Gibson House Museum, Mackenzie House, Todmorden Mills Heritage Site and Spadina Museum: Historic House and Gardens.
